I was born and raised in Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High school in 1990.  I played football, baseball and soccer all the way through high school.  I went to the university of Idaho and entered into there teacher education program.  I graduated from U of I in 1996 with a double degree in PE and Sports Medicine with a minor in Health.  My first teaching job was in the winter of 1997 working at Idaho Hill just on the other side of Priest River.  I taught elementary PE and traveled to Southside Elementary two days a week.  I took a job at Sandpoint Middle School in 2001 to teach Health and PE.  Seven years later, I started teaching computers too.  I got married in 2006 to Tammy.  We have 2 kids, Mike is 18 , Savannah is 13 and in the Middle School.  I put a lot of extra time and effort in to coaching the o-line of varsity football team and also 8th grade basketball.
